A rare vivid blue backdrop captured my attention on the way to school one morning. It was as good a reason as any to pull over and try out the new-to-me Canon G15 camera. This same stretch of brutal cold winter brought something we hadn’t seen since 2019: Lake Champlain frozen thick enough to walk on. The pictures stand in stark contrast to the way the month would end.
